INSURANCE

Pru was admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court in Victoria in March 1998. Since that time, she has practised in the field of insurance litigation largely in Victoria and from 2004, in Queensland. Pru was a partner in a plaintiff practice in Melbourne. Her work was mainly in the transport accident area. Pru has utilised her plaintiff experience and is now practising solely in Insurance for Insurers.

EXPERIENCE

Pru was a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, Transport Accident Committee, for several years and in 2003 was the author of an article: “Locking in the Right Interpretation” Law Institute Journal October 2003, page 48.
Pru is a director of Genazzano College, one of Melbourne’s pre-imminent private girls’ schools.

EDUCATION

Pru has presented papers at Victorian State APLA conferences and is to present at the Ethics and Risk Management Seminar in April 2006.

Pru’s expertise is in the cost effective and efficient management of personal injuries claims. She is also a skilled negotiator, assisting clients to reach timely settlements.
